Majekodunmi Emerged As Best SUBEB Chairman

Chief (Dr) Femi Majekodunmi has emerged as the best SUBEB chairman in south west Nigeria.

According to a statement credited to the Ogun State Chairman, State Universal Education Board, Chief Majekodunmi, it was said that the federal ministry of Education has endorsed him as the best SUBEB Chairman in South West Nigeria.

It was gathered that the award was based on competency and productivity of the various SUBEB Chairman and how they have been able to improve the quality of Education in their various states.

Chief Majekodunmi during an interview said he was elected for this recognition by the Federal Ministry of Education stating that his experience and exposure in the private sector afforded him the opportunity to put his best toward ensuring that people in public school have access to quality education.

He pledged to further introduce innovations that will add value to the education sector in the state so that the state will be available to maintain its status as one of the leading states in education in Nigeria.

He spoke on the annual Lisabi Day Festival which has been on for over thirty years stating that it commemorates the efforts of the past heroes of Egba while the Festival has been reinvigorated to create the much needed platform for the people to socialise and integrate with one another.
